CAPs

The Elevation Project is dedicated to addressing health disparities among African American men, with a focus on prostate cancer, hypertension, genetic risks, and lung cancer awareness. By combining education, outreach, and screenings, the initiative empowers men to take charge of their health through early detection and proactive care.
Since its launch,
the project has:
- Screened more than 1,000 men for prostate cancer
- Identified 18 cancers and connected individuals with providers and specialty care.
- Distributed fresh produce to promote healthier lifestyles in Albany, GA, and surrounding counties.
The Elevation Project not only raises awareness but also builds pathways to healthier futures, helping save lives and strengthen communities.
