ABOUT US
Mission
Expanding access to food, healthcare, and housing to create lasting, positive change for individuals, families, and entire communities.
Vision
A thriving community where every person, regardless of socioeconomic status, has the opportunity, support, and resources to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Mt. Zion Community Reinvestment Corporation (CRC) was established in the early 2000s in response to pressing needs within Albany, GA and surrounding communities. A nonprofit structure offered the best opportunity to connect with vital resources and partners, ensuring that families and individuals could access the support they deserve.
From the beginning, CRC has played a key role in advancing health, education, and opportunity. Programs include the Samaritan Clinic, which provides care for uninsured and underinsured populations, and the CAPS Tutorial Program, designed to strengthen reading and math readiness while bridging educational gaps for school-aged children. Partnerships with organizations such as the Albany Coalition of Churches have also given rise to impactful health initiatives, including the Elevation Project and Women of Wellness (WOW).
Today, CRC continues to build bridges between faith, health, and community. Collaborations with the Department of Public Health, Morehouse School of Medicine, Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, and other partners provide access to health education, resources, and support systems that empower individuals and families across generations.
At its core, Mt. Zion Community Reinvestment Corporation is
dedicated to eliminating disparities through integrative, faith-based, and community-driven initiatives. The focus remains on holistic wellness, meaningful partnerships, and building trust in communities that have often been overlooked.
